Mighty No.9 is a robot that has set out to save its other robot brethren, as a virus has affected them all, making them go crazy, except for our hero for some odd reason. You never defeat or beat any robot in the game, instead you absorb them, and they give you power. These powers are what help you throughout the game, making tough challenges look easy, and boss fights effortless and simple. Once you absorb them, it means you have saved them in a way. Mighty No.9 is a fast-paced game that keeps you on your toes throughout your play-through. Quick reflexes are needed in order to beat this game, as you might die the next second if you take one wrong move, without planning carefully. Boss battles are something you should watch out for, since they will be quite tough, but not impossible even if you are playing with the normal version of Mighty No.9, and not his special forms. His special forms will be accessible once you start bringing his robot brethren back to their senses, and will be helpful in getting through with the game quickly. The game is said to release on June 21, 2016, and will be out for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC. The 3DS and PlayStation Vita versions are also in the works, but will take some time. Mighty No.9 may be a look alike of the Megaman series, but it definitely has its own learning curve, gameplay mechanics, and storyline, which will keep you hooked.
